Christmas in Colorado Part 2..Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods is Amazing.  It is a Park that sits in the middle of Colorado Springs.  Went up there for a quick Sunday drive and a photo shoot.  Can't wait to go back and explore!!

Christmas in Colorado!

This year I ventured out to Colorado Springs for Christmas!  I spent some serious quality time with my brother, Jeff and his Family.  I had never been there before, so I was very excited for this.  My first whole day there we went to ZooLights, which was a blast and a little chilly and very hilly...Got a work out. 

 

 We were able to go see the giraffe's inside and feed them.  They are so awesome.  Jeff has a pretty funny Picture of me feeding the Giraffe's..It was a little scary!! 

 This is the family...needless to say one of the Giraffe's got a little frisky with Jeff...nothing like a Licky kiss right in the mug....notice how he is trying to get away...ha ha

The next day they took me too the outlets in Castle Rock..Pretty nice...We went to there favorite restaurant Jim-n-Nicks...best barbeque ever.  Off to downtown Denver to a German Festival....some seriously cute outfits...wish I took some pictures.  Then on the way home we stopped by the Denver Temple...It was beautiful!!

First time is a charm...

Yesterday was Reyn's 4th Birthday..Well her momma, Angie, always makes fun cakes!! Well I asked in a joking way if I could help and she said yes. I am not going to lie, but I thought she was nuts. She showed me how to make the cute little things with the little cake tip...I have no idea what these things are called. Anyways...I did all the pink...and Angie did most of the work...made the cake, shaped it into Hello Kitties face, made the frosting, did all the white, bow and the cute face!! I will say I was quite proud of myself and shockingly I liked doing it...It was very theraputic! Who would have thought! Look at how cute that is!!!

Oh how i miss them...

I am really missing my Family!!! All of them!! I wish I could just see them and hug them and maybe even Kiss them!! I Love them so much and I wish we all lived right by each other. I don't know if it is because I worked all through the holidays and barely saw Angela and her family or if I just need a quick family fix...someone come visit me!!! Anyways...I love you all and wish I could squeeze your buns. I hope to see you all very soon!!

I Finally Finished It....

The girls at work taught me how to crochet!! So my first project was to make a blanket for my niece Khloe! I started off strong and then I ran out of green and the store was out..so after a couple months, I finally got the green and was able to finish it in time for Khloe girl to come to Utah! I am quite proud of my first attempt to crochet..I had great teachers!!!
